Plants for Herb Day

If you’re looking for tomatoes or herbs, we’ll have them at Herb Day, April 23, 8am-3pm on the grounds of Grace Presbyterian Church (Atlanta Highway at Bell Road). Here’s what we’re bringing:

Special for this year - Plants to dye your clothes! We’ll have madder and indigo.

Culinary Herbs: lemon grass, summer thyme, Italian flat parsley, marjoram, basil, fennel, dill, candy stevia, garden sage

Medicinal Herbs: hyssop, comfrey, camomile, aloe, yarrow, moringa

Tomatoes: Ace 55, Classic Beefsteak, Amish Paste, Roma, Tlacolula, Cherokee, Floradade, Fireworks

Eggplant: Ping Tung Long, Orient Charm

Other nice things: Jewels of Opar and Coreopsis

We’d like to than our volunteers and Master Gardeners who have helped plant and pot up these plants all spring - some starting in January!
