E.A.T. South is your nonprofit teaching farm located in the heart of Montgomery. Every month of the year, we offer programs for kids, adults, and families. At the same time, we raise more than fifty varieties of fresh fruit and vegetables and keep chickens, ducks, bees, and one very special cat.

To share what we do with you, we’re taking the next twelve days - the Twelve Days of Give-mas - leading up to Giving Tuesday to highlight our programs, tell farm stories, and share our vision for an urban farm future with you.

If you’re not familiar with E.A.T. South, we’re staffed by two farmer-educators, Caylor Roling, Urban Farmer/Farm Director, and Amanda Edwards, Education Program Director. Between two staff and many talented and energetic volunteers, we are transforming downtown brownfield site into a beautiful outdoor classroom and hosting programs and events dedicated to healthy food, healthy people, and healthy communities.

Everything that is growing on the farm, all of the animals, and, most importantly, all of our educational programs are supported by donations from people like you. We hope you enjoy the stories and pictures from the 12 days of Give-mas, and if something catches your eye, if you like what you see, please consider giving to E.A.T. South this year.
